This happened earlier tonight in franklin on Arno Rd. definatley wont be rollin up in an 8 tomorrow night if i go at all.
I was creeping up a hill right when it started snowing and wheels started spinning so i coasted to the bottom of the hill and while i was turning around here comes a 97 bonnaville skiiding at about 30 cant stop and plows into me and continues into a ditch after taking out a mailbox. not a good night at all

(damaged items from what i can see and feel)
1 OEM fender
1 OEM front bumper with mazdaspeed ground effects
1 clear cornering light
1 OEM headlight
tire rods were destroyed somehow so i had absolutley no steering which made hitching up to the tow truck difficult
possibly other driver side suspension components

needless to say i am less than happy about this happening so here are the pics of my baby on the tow truck before leaving

haha yea ive been wanting it for a while but im pretty sure that her insurence will cover it cuz it should be her fault and the girl had full coverage and so do i :D

give or take about twoish weeks till its gonna be fixed : /

 

Open track day at NSS March 6, 2010

Spring "WILL" be in the air.. (I hope) Same concept as all our other events. Fun, more fun mixed with SPEED!!!!!!!!! The date will be March 6, 2010. Cost will be $175.00 Drivers will receive a lunch ticket at the driver meeting. Gate fee will be $5 for spectators. Lunch tickets will be available for purchase for spectators for a minimum fee.

We are going to limit track day to 40 spots. 4 groups of 10. We will furnish lunch (pizza & Soft Drinks). If you don't like pizza and soft drinks we would be glad to point you in the direction of Murfreesboro.

This is non-refundable! However if you decide not to go, we will try to sell your spot if possible.

^ yea its a little pricy to enter but my buddy with alpha dog photography is going out there to do a photo shoot of my car while i race basically most of the cars at this event will earn a spot in sikwhipz magazine :D

 

ya this weather totally sux!!!! im in clarksville so i wont be heading out to nashville till the weather clears up a bit. maybe in spring ill come out and meet up with you guys . theres a small local gathering of whoever shows up out here but its mostly all dudes from the army base sporting hondas or subarus. theres usually only 2 of us 8s there. i am in the process of putting a custom rearmount turbo on my ride. should have it done within a month or so it would be cool to meet up with some more 8s or anything rotary for that matter. ill keep tabs on this thread so post if anything is goin on and ill try to get up in the mix

FINALLY i get a call today saying that my car has been towed to vougley and todd to be fixed i went to fill out some paper work and they are well under way ha i wish i snapped a pic of it the whole front end is gone atm hopefully you can spot me driving the snot out of it next week when i get it back :D!!

well I'm staying at the Microtel about 15 min away. several of the Florida guys are staying there too. It'll run you about $71 a night minus a 10% discount for telling them your with the "rotary car club".
