Wasup, just registered on here, Ive had Rx7club.com before though. Anyways Im buying a Rx-8 as a daily on thursday and was wondering if anyone on here knows or even owne dit. Its a 04 yellow, has headlight lids, agency power exhaust, chromed stock 18's and a lil lip kit. I work at carmax so im getting the car off the auction, but just wanted to see if anyone one knew any bad history of this thing before i buy it. I also wonder why the owner would have sold it to carmax for so cheap??
Anyways, i'm not to sure about having a second rotary (I have a built turbo II) but I love how they drive, and the price im getting it at is hard to resist. Im new on here, but not new to rotaries, and I read on a former thread something that I felt the same way about.
Theres to many people out there with rx8 that you highbeam, or say wasup to..give em a trianglr shape hand sign..rev at them..nothing seems to get there attention..wtf? Who the F*** deals with a rotaries **** if they dont care about it?
Get a camry or a soltice or some ****. Anyways lemme know if you guys know about the car..Im definately buying it thursday.

 

LOL the fact that you work at car max should tell you why the person sold it for so cheap, no offense but you guys rip people off. My friend sold his celica to you guys for about 6k and a few months after we found the person who bought it and he bought it for 12k, double the price what it was sold to carmax for. Im sorry but that is a HUGE markup.

Anyways, I have a phantom blue RX-8, kinda hard to miss me since im the only one with that color in miami-dade and 1 of the only two from dade to broward.

But I'm in the kendall, miami-dade, area almost every day. Since I live around there. Mines a VR. I've seen a couple 8's, that look the same as mine, but just aren't.

 

mine is black but i work/drive around the kendall area a lot. I've been kind of sick and heading to work late the past few days and have seen a lot around 9pm (120th). Yet none ever bother to look over at me or anything thing. Hell I got way more props in my civic then I've gotten in the 8....
This car now just seems like accord.

 

Thats funny cause I saw you this weekend on 104 you were going in the direction of 107 and I was going to my house (In front of MDC) You were in your VR sporting those 16's and you had your windows up with the dark tints

 

I live between 120th street and 104th. My neighborhood is on 113th st right off of 117th ave.

Yea Carmax rips ppl off, but not me, Im getting that car at cost..., when they buy a car with aftermarket accecories they send them to auction, they dont make it to the front lot. Non the less, they wont even accept rx8's anymore period.

I saw a black rx-8 last night and decided to give him the triangle rotary symbol with my hands, lol. I was in my jetta though coming back from walmart.

 

^ I saw a black 8 today, around dade land. And I've seen him maybe 2-3 times. I saw him the day I was pulled over, he passed right in front of me, while I was talking to the cop.. And today going to work, I saw the same 8.. Tried doing something but he looked pissed. lmao..
