I spent 3 days in Miami and about 12 hours in total on south beach and didn't see not even one rx-8. What's going on? Was it just my bad luck or are they not popular (or good enough) for South Beach?

 

umm.you didn't look hard enough. There are RX8's in miami...a few are on these forums.

Were you there during the day or something? Most people work ya know...

 

Some parts of the Day and some parts at night. I guess I was expecting to see many 8's and just had bad luck. Just wanted to make sure that the 8's or Mazda didn't have a bad rap in Miami for some reason or another.

 

I was there friday....cruised along south beach....if you can call it cruising. More like getting frustrated at the traffic...never again.

 

Hell of a nice pic. Frame that one. With the shadeing it kind of looks like a cross breed between a RX7 & an RX8. Beautiful background of Miami/South Beach. Went on Lincoln rd. What a treat that street was for the music, food and women.

 

How long are you here for bro? There is an autox coming up on June 12th and a few of us RX8ers will be there. You can see a few 8s in action.

 

There are a fair share of RX-8s around here now. I'm seeing at least 1 each day now...max I've seen in one day is 5. That's a lot more than last year when it was more like 1 or 2 sightings a month.

Regardless, this car is nowhere near as common down here as its competitors are. But I don't mind the added attention.

 

I'm already back in the "big smoke" (Toronto, Canada). Too bad. Next time I go dow to Miami, I'll try to meet with a few of you there if its convenient for y'all.

In any event, glad to see there are just enough 8's there to indicate they don't have a bad rap and to give you guys you're due hightened level of attention.

hmm well I just got here so I have my black 8 in sobe but i keep it in a garage rather then leave it on the street
