Ok well I am buying a 2004 Titanium Grey rx-8, I need some suggestions on different kind of rims, in designs and color, for my new car. I dont really have a clue, suggestions would be great thanks.

 

Get really big heavy 20" Bling Bling rims....


Just kidding. There are a number of folks here with different aftermarket rims. I've got some ADR cypher bronze wheels. SSR and Gram Lights are also great rims, though a little expensive. 17" rims will give you a better ratio for accelleration. The stock rim weighs about 22 lbs (correct me someone if I'm wrong) in case that might go into your decision to getting other rims. Gunmetel or bronze wheels look great on the Ti Grey cars, IMHO.

 

One decide what you want--looks vs performance. The choices are many. Then decide on price range--the choices are many. I really like my rpf 1 enkeis but to some I am sure it is not their style. Good luck and enjoy shoping.

ok i want to put 20in wheels on my rx8 what would the offsets and specifications of the rim be? and maybe some good 20in wheel suggestions looked at the tsw thuxsions something like that looked nice but didnt know specifications

20's will ruin the way your car rides man. Dont do it--most people go with the 18's--you can go up to a 35 offset --8.5 wide at least--some have gone to 9.

OD, I think we are dealing with looks... The enkei rpm2's are a nice combination of looks and performance. The hyper black would look good. If you want 20's, don't wast your money on a car built for performance, get an Escalade.

ok i need specfic advice on these rims for my TGrey 8... they are 18s, decided to forget about gettin them in the 20s, dont make em 19, so i think ima go with the 18s. TELL EM WHAT YA THINK!!!

You want the DPK's. The gunmetal color matches the Ti almost exactly. And they're not costly. They didn't weigh much either.

I paid $700 including shipping for the set. They're 19"

Thanks for the pics of ur grey 8 with the 19in hiros, I JUST ordered my 19in Gunmetal Hiros from wheelmax.com for 1999 rims and tires plus tax!!! so it came to about 2100 be installing them in about 2 weeks once they get here. -Jmoney ps. pics were excatly what i was lookin for wanted to see excatly what my car would look like with them
