Does it also use two sided tape along with the bolts to hold it down?

Your car looks really clean - nice reflection of the Stop Sign on the trunk

thanks, it didn't bring it any two sided tape just the two screws but the body shop put some on...

I didn't even see that stop sign reflection until now that you mention it, thanks

Great pics. The RB spoiler is definitely very tasteful. You had to get it painted right?

Looks clean--G35ish--but clean.

I like the red calipers on silver. My 8 is silver. What kind of paint did you use? Any special prep?

Did the Hurricane panels inside the garage give it away? :p I might take you up on your offer that now that ricky is back :D

Epi, I'll give you a real good deal if so.... :D

Dre, yes it does look like the G35 spoiler, but I like that spoiler I just like it cause is subtle and looks very clean....

R042, I used VHT high temp paint and as far as prep I just cleaned really good, put a base of silver than a coat of red....

Thanks to all for the feedback.... :o

Otrovago -

Any issues with the mounting? I just got my 04 Yellow back after having the RB spoiler mounted.. it is off center by about 1/8 inch. The body shop tells me they used the template from RB and after they drilled they found out the holes did not line up... "it's not their fault"

My story/and pics on this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/racing-beat-spoiler-paint-job-67473/

Looks nice. Go ahead and do the whole RB body kit so I can see it on a Titanium... If I do a kit, that is the one I am leaning toward, would be nice to see it before hand though :D

Very nice. I might do one for my red. How does the deck lid close now? A little faster and harder?

Yeah, I have a velocity red 8 as well and would like to get the RB spoiler but would like to see it in red before I plunk down by $300 plus paint. Anybody got any pics? Before you flame me, I did run a search with no results.

fredy, I had no issues installing it...

Hard8, the lid does close harder, so you just have to hold the spoiler and let it go smoothly so that it won't slam close....

There wasn't many pics around either when I was out looking to buy a spoiler... but it turned out better than expected, I'm very please with it....

Looks awesome. Time to start saving my pennies I think. Did you have the original spoiler before this one? The RB spoiler is supposed to fit in the holes from it.
