Unhappy Need new engine

Hello everyone this is my first post here… Look I have a 2004 rx8 automatic bought it few months ago from a guy in craigslist, the car has around 92k. I was driving it when a hose of the radiator got broke and started leaking water but I didn't notice that till the engine got heat and stop running in the middle of the road… After that I took my car to the dealer and it was diagnosed as complete engine failure etc etc... Now I need a new engine but the problem is that the car still under warranty but they won't coverage because I don't have the records of maintenance.
The previous owner did oil change and everything else by itself so there is no record so I can prove it. So now I don’t know what to do… If anyone knows what I can do, I really appreciate your help.

without the records you're going to be buying a replacement engine
