If you have the chance for MazdaManiac to tune your car you should do it. After he works his magic you will not be disappointed. My car performs much better now.

to the OP: just a bit of advice, if you can I would recommend shooting for a date in January. The December 18th is too close to the holidays, people are spending money on gifts, and it might be tough to get people signed up.

January gives you plenty of time to spark interest and spread the word so you can help keep the costs down. (the more people you get to sign up, the cheaper it gets on a per person basis)

Good luck, hopefully you guys get the opportunity to do this as Dyno Days are always fun.

Orlando!

If in Feb, I'll more than likey be able to get on out there, I just need to know the dates. I have a contract to do at the end of Feb (18-20) so as long as it's not those dates, I should be good.

Actually, Febuary would be even better as some of us get Tax return money around that time. Either way I am going to try and do this. I need to get the Cobb.

Yeah - I'd suggest somewhere between Orlando and Tampa in February.

Do you mean your discounting your normal tuning cost to those who already own one of your Cobb tuners?

I fit in this slot...So basically I would be responsible for Cobb purchase (-$100 discount), the $150 per slot charge, and the shop rental charge divided by the amount of cars scheduled (more cars equals less money)?

I'll try to put $800 aside for this...Late January is ok but February is even better. I hope my engine is covered under warrantee!

So, if you have an AP and you are NOT currently a MazdaManiac Custom Calibration Service customer, you would pay $300 for your tuning slot plus the dyno operator's charge.

It is $150 per slot as long as you fill 8 slots.
If only 6 slots are filled, the per-slot cost goes up to $200.
It pays to buy M&M's.

Understood...thanks!

I wish I had the time to help put all this together but work is just too crazy. Who else can step in to manage this?

Ideas:

Perhaps it can be done in the Ft. Lauderdale/West Palm area so the Orlando guys and the Miami guys can meet in the middle?

We should post this in the Mazda3 and 6 forum to improve the chances of filling up the slots?

I can ask around if there is a good shop with a dyno?

Let me know,

Chris
