I can vouch for the stickiness of the V710s. I couldn't beleive how glued to the road they were when I rode with Lego at RA last year.

I think he is talking about the results from this thread:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...37#post2020837

And the 1oz comes from what Racing Beat was doing in their testing I believe. But I'm just a lurker on those threads so what do I know?

it aint the filters--its the pump plus dirty gas in georgia. so running 1/4 oz per gallon or running 1 oz per gallon will not matter. The latest is that these all pupose fuel pump assemblies in these modern cars have a way of capturing sediment. the sediment plus the pre mix makes it collect a little easier. Some very small sediment eventually gets through to the pump and over time the pumping capacity is affected. This is also supported by the pump studies Bill did in which he found my pump output down by over 30%. The filter is actually after the pump.
This also explains why some have no probs---some areas has cleaner gas than others.
About the only thing you can do is to not allow your tank much under 1/2 tank ever! Keep enough gas in it to slosh all the sediment out of the little tank.

The only Spankies I am interested in are 6 exits up .... I may need a ride from teh airport, same exit as track, the drive is too far, and I have too many US air points burning a whoel in my pocket.
