I've owned two toyota Pick-ups. My first one I bought used around 1985 and beat the hell out of it for about 5 years then sold it. I still see it being driven around here by the guy that bought it from me. You cannot kill those trucks.
It was something like a 1/4 ton truck but I once pulled into the quarry to get a load of gravel. The guy driving the huge front end loader was smiling as he dropped at least a ton of gravel into my poor little 4 banger. The springs bottomed out and I took off with my front wheels occasionally touching the pavement! That was one long trip home. I was too stupid to make them dump some of the gravel. I made it home and shoveled the gravel off and the truck ran fine. As I said... you cannot kill those trucks.

was watching sports car revolution tonight on TV. They baselined their MX-5 project car at Roebling. It seeems like every time I watch Motorweek they are testing at Roebling too. I love this track and am really itching to experience it again. It is such a fast track.

Not registered yet, but I'll use the discount pass with it. The RX-7 may be coming to this rather than the 8, not sure yet.
As far as mods for the 7:
Holley 4 brl from Racing Beat
Full Racing Beat Exhaust including Header
Lots of junk removed from the Engine Bay
R compounds and Hawk Pads
Tokico Adjustables but, by then it should have coilovers I hope.
The 7 may be a lot of fun at Roebling too!

New ride = A white 2002 Audi a4 Quattro 1.8t. I still have the miata for Auto x too...

Got my hotel reserved for this event. Francois and I are going to be at the Springhill Suites I-95 South. Marriott Rewards works out to be cheaper than the NASA rate at the official hotel.
