MRCCFL Tampa Bay Area meets resume 2/21
Tampa Bay Area meets will resume on February 21st. This Saturday, the 14th is the second Saturday of the month (our normal meeting time), but since it is Valentine's Day, some people may wish to spend time with their significant others in a non-automotive environment.

I know how you feel. I'm working a co-worker's late shift so he can take his wife out to dinner. But, the car doesn't come first for everybody, so I have to wait a week. Which stinks, since I didn't come back from vacation in time to plan a January meet, and I missed December's. So, it's been awhile since I've seen my rotary brethren.

To all interested parties,
I'm extremely sorry for the delay, but it appears there was some confusion between John and I about getting the word out for the meet this weekend. Since I don't want to lose anymore time in getting the word out here's the deal:
This Saturday, February 21st, 6 PM, at the Malibu Grand Prix in Tampa. The address is 14320 N Nebraska Ave if you need to get directions. Back by popular demand is "Tampa Bay Area Malibu Challenge #2." Same drill as last time, if you want to enter, it's $5 per person. To the person with the fastest time (I have to assume Malibu will have their timers working) goes half the pot, the other half is donated to charity. Last time, the winner took home $25. Obviously, you don't have to enter the challenge, but I encourage you to come spectate and hang out for awhile at Malibu. After we're done there, we can all decide on a place to grab a bite to eat for those that wish.

I apologize again for the short notice, and I promise I won't let it happen next month. If you have any ideas for next month's meet, feel free to share them with me. Next month's meet will be Saturday March 13th, so of course I will be accepting belated b-day presents.
