Alright folks,

I'll be making the move to Charlotte, NC from Pittsburgh, Pa in late November / early December. Is the RX-8 community in Charlotte an active one? Is there a large contingent of RX-8 enthusiasts in the area? I looked a little here in the SE section, but I didn't see too much. Perhaps I may have had I looked more thoroughly, but that's neither here or there.

Either way, I'd appreciate any assistance on this matter, and I look forward to seeing all you Charlotte RX-8 people...

I've had my 8 for about 3 months, and have not been to a meet yet, they are out at concord and do long drives to the mountains. I've meet up with 2 other BB rx8 owners, but they are not members of this forum. I'm looking for some people to meet up with, i'm right by South Park Mall, in charlotte, so PM me when you get here and we'll meet up.

 

South Park Mall, is that off of Fairview? If so, my new job is over in that area, so that shouldn't be a problem at all...

If I'm thinking of someplace other than the mall you're talking about, I'll have to mapquest / google earth it... LOL

 

Ahhh, Southg Park Mall... I am ban from there... HEEHEE.... I was in Charlotte last week, saw an awesome 8. Female driver, florida plates, the 8 was painted purple, no it was not a shinka purple, it was a custom job. Ive posted on cltrx8club.com but dosent seem to be alot of activity on the site.... Anyone know if theres another meet coming up anytime soon?

 

Yeah there is rarely anyone on on cltrx8club.com They usually have their meets the 1st and 3rd saturdays of the month at quaker steak and lube in Concord NC. I personally have never been to one, so idk if they actually have them on schedule or not. But yes, Southpark mall is on fairview. I have only seen stock 8's around here, their pretty rare IMO. And i have still not been able to meet up with another 8 driver. : (

 

I'll be moving to Charlotte in July, hope to meet up with some 8s once I'm there!

 

The Clt guys have been coming up for the Asheville meets on recently... Lotsa guys in Clt although there may not be alot of action on there site.. They are a great bunch of guys!!
