Hey all -

I've been lurking for awhile and was curious if anyone on the board was from Central MS. I'm currently stationed in Meridian and I've only seen 2 8's there besides mine and a flight school classmate's. There was a Winning Blue one in the Sam's Club parking lot a while back and I just saw a Sunlight Silver one with tinted windows off Highway 39 today. Anyone want to own up?

 

I used to live north of ya in columbus, and go back every once and awhile to visit my folks Oh yeah almost forgot, SIR! hehehe

 

I live in Madision and was also curious about it. I've seen several around Jackson.

i live in jackson... just found this board. had my 8 for about 3 months now...titanium gray.

Yeah the winning blue 8 at sam's was me, err... my girlfriend. its her car, we live in hoover AL now but we are in Meridian from time to time on the weekends.

 

I'm at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, and this place is loaded with 8's right now. My Ti Gray and a Blue have been here for 1 1/2 years. Now there is a black, a Shinka, and two silvers, at least. Except for Shinka, I'm now sure if they all live here, or are temprary folks.

 

I'm in shreveport, la....but i go home to MS frequently. I'm from the central MS also in the middle of jackson and hattiesburg. hows the rebuilding at keesler going?

 

Figured I'd bump/threadjack my own thread. Anyone have a lead on any good detail shops in East Central MS? I'm thinking about getting my 8 done on its 1st birthday or a little after, when I get winged. But I'd like to find a place with a good rep versus Jim Bob's Random Paint Shop. Any suggestions?

It appears to be a done deal on me moving to Grenada. From what I can find, the only dealers are in Jackson and Tupelo. Any experiences with either of these anyone can share?

 

I bought mine from Northpark Mazda/Acura in Jackson (Ridgeland). Nice folks, fair deal but service area has had some management turnover. The other local dealer - Howard Wilson, seems to be taking the lead in inventory and advertising. btw... the ONLY service I've needed is oil changes... I haven't found ANYTHING to complain about or have adjusted.
