The club should have 1 loaner helmet! I would recommend that you find a headsock tho ; )
If i recall correctly someone donated a helmet at the last event to use as a loaner.

I know Frank Jacobs has an extra... Not sure if that was the one donated though
Either way, AutoCraze in Down Town Miami sells Sparco head socks out of 100% cotton cheap (I own one ). Not sure if they're open on Saturday though.

to watch from the beginning, 9:00AM
Just take the turnpike to SW 137th Avenue (Speedway Boulevard) and then head south till you literally run into it.
or you can jump on www.erscc.com and pull the map and flyer PDF

I'm in need of helmet as well. Whats the minimum Snell rating required for Auto X? (Lazy questions before commencing search ) Does it have to be closed face? or can it be open?

ER will let you by on M95 i think. So a M2000 will work fine. its SNELL rated helmets they look for though.. D.O.T. rated are typicaly not welcomed (dot rated without snell rating)
Are you able to go there before 7pm tonight?

ugh... ... where is this place?
the min snell rating you need is 95, that being said... A snell 2000 will last you till 2010 and a snell 95 will last you till 2005.
Next year they should come out with a snell 05 which will last you till 2015 so the prices of the snell 2000 should start dropping.
You can use an M rated helmet (Motorcycle such as an M2000 or M95), but I personally think that an SA rated helmet (Automobile like an SA2000 or SA95) is the way to go.
...but then it's your head

Ok guys, seems as if everything is set to "go".
I am sure i will be the only Mazda6 there, so if you see me, stop and say hi.
I am hoping to get #176 GS or some combo of that.

I was messing around with out color laser today and transparency film..
you guys think either of the 3 colors in the image i attached are good enough to use?
might have to much relfection and not enough contrast for a sunny day on the track though

i went ahead and printed out numbers on normal paper.. i should be ok.. lets hope my 3 number combo is not taken (or the 3 variations)
Has ER ever had a 2 day event? like test-n-tune Sat with timed runs on Sun?
or is fun time only after all the runs have gone and there is some time left in the day?

they used to do speed trials on Sunday and Auto X on Saturday, but the lack of room did away with the speedtrials.
Usually "fun runs" are done at the end of the event. fun runs cost $1 per run and you must help take down the track at the end.

well...
washed the car, took everything that needed to be out out (this includes everything inside the glove box), put all the numbers and decals in the trunk, put the helmets (yes yours is there too Greg )in the car, pre-checked tire pressures and levels, and now it's off to bed
BTW: Greg, it looks like you got #176 and John got #82
See you all there! :D

Welp, I removed most everything from the car, put my chair in, and changed the tranny and diff oil.
Oh and put on my new rear sway bar :D
Which I also managed to put on backwards the first time. That was one scary THUNK the first time I punched the gas while taking it out for a test let me tell ya.
Also, I hate dealers who are morons. I got some crush washers for the car to do the work, and imagine my surprise as I am putting stuff back togerther at about 7PM or so, that they sold me the wrong damn ones. Had to re-use the original ones until I can lay my hands on some new ones, and then it's waste all the oil to swap it out. Hope it dont leak!
