I was just looking at the line up for the November Dark Side HPDE and did not see the usual flock of Mazda's. Where are you 8, 6, 3 or 5 guys and girls? This is one of the more pleasant tracks out there, a good group, and the 8 does very well there. They guys in the 6 station wagon seemed to have a blast last time. I heard they picked up 2 seconds when they took the car seats out of the back

Question for mods... Can I post a link here, or is that selling something? Or, is this whole thread going to get tossed?

 

I havn't made it out to any Track events this year. Been so focused on autocrossing and traveling somewhere just about every weekend. Not to mention I still havn't fixed the front oil seal leak, and until I get that fixed I can not take it to the track, too much oil gets all over the engine.

I might try to make this one like I did this past year. We'll see..

 

And I'm definitely going to miss them. The majority of them are going to do Barber the weekend before, and well, you know how difficult it is to be able to do DEs back to back... The few that aren't going to Barber decided TT at CMP with NASA is the way to go... I have one RX8 coming so far. And a whole bunch of - see you in May...

Definitely.. This time with 4 complete tires.

Am I the only 8? Swoope was talking about it on Sunday. This is gonna be PCA all over again. Would be nice to share the load some. Getting that many of those little German cars out of the grill was not easy. I did like the Honda that went of 5 backwards though, off of track, out of mind... And the 911, and the BMW, that broke down, and the other one that broke down. Honest, some of them were not even in my run group... The new 8 in green held his own as well.

To be honest, I really, really thought about going up.
Have a friend at work that will be trailering his 7 up and suggested that I might wanna go and take the 8.
He sent me the link with all the info and I checked it all out, but my issue is I just have too many things going on right now.

 

Mazurfer, Take my advice, come. I will buy you a beer, maybe 2....

The rest of you, it is all Miatas. Come on. There are even girls at this one for crying out loud!
