You are gonna let some mechanic come and pick up your car and then drop it back off for you? Don't be surprised if you get it back with some french fries on your carpet. Papi...you crazy mang.

they were gonna tow it, not drive it, and dont call me papi that's just um....creepy. I got a call a few hours later from them and they told me it was a mistake and they didnt need to bring my car in after all.

Got my letter in the mail and scheduled the visit with Jim Ellis Mazda this past Thursday. Car passed all the tests, got the new plugs, but when I asked about the white glove treatment, ie, wash and fill up, they said no, they don't do that. It was Eddie at the service desk that told me that. I did get a loaner for a couple of hours to go hang out with the guys at Mazcare right down the road.

I've been premixing from the beginning, but not at every fill up since I can't guarantee that my wife does it, but the car feels better at tip in, probably due to the plugs since the car has about 21k on it and the plugs haven't been changed until now. First tank of gas as well, but we've been averaging about 20mpg with mixed driving conditions of about 50/50.

I thought 04206f was a voluntary recall so I skipped it. But I just got my registration renewal and it indicates that I have to include a certificate of completion for this recall.
