GT Live/MazdaDays 07 at VIR
I posted about this over on the Mazda Owners of America website, but I'm spreading the word here as well. Instead of typing it all over again, I'm going to just copy and paste it haha. Take note of the discount code: 'WIBOB'.
So, who's in? I'm posting up another topic in the NE section so that those guys won't miss out (since it's in VA).

GT Live is returning to VIR on October 6th and 7th this year for Round 2. Hopefully, there will be less (read: NO) rain this year. It's similar to the SIM race, except it's drifting instead of lapping the track in really really fast cars. It should be great. A number of us from NC will be participating in the lap battle this year. Theme: 'Operatoin beat Jonny' haha. Jonny was the guy from VA with the White TII RX-7 who spanked up on the competition in the lap battle last year. He did that on a wet track, which means he will be even faster this year (provided it's dry).
MazdaDays is returning again this year. The NC Rotaries car club (formally known as the rrdi ... we realized that over half of our members were not Raleigh residents which resulted in a name change) is preparing to make this the best Mazda meet on the east cost. To do that we need LOTS AND LOTS of Mazda cars to show up. There is a possibility that Mazda USA will provide some things for us. I'll keep you posted on that.
Also, this year we have discounts! You can use the promo code 'WIBOB' when buying your tickets to get you $5 off a weekend pass, or $2 off a one day pass. Motorsports at a discount... mmmm mmmm good. The code is multi use, so feel free to distribute it as you wish.
I'm slowly making my way around to the different forums I'm registered at and posting information about it. I'll point them to this thread (free advertisement for mazooa and GT Live at the same time
). If any of you guys could help me out and post on your respective boards, that would be great! Direct them here too so we can get some kind of singular point of Mazda hot going on. So far, I've got the rx8club.com, rx7club.com, and rx8web.com covered (can you tell I'm a rotary owner hahaha).

Looks like it will be all raleigh (Nic, you guys count as raleigh lol)/charlotte rotary's haha. There are more people signed up to attend from the importsnc club than from all of the Mazda powers combined! We need to fix that haha.

Some updates:
- Sill working on a Mazda owners karting session.
- Going to get a group photo shoot set up with the GT Live girls.
- MNAO and other sponsors have donated things we will be raffling off
- Camping is allowed at $35 a tent.
