The pyrometer should be here today, which means I will spend the afternoon taking surface temps of everything in sight. Tonight the tires goet rotated, the trunk liners and seats come out...lets hit the track.

I like to follow the wife with the laser pyrometer, point it at her and say, "Damn Baby, you're HOT!!!" Then when she gives me a disapproving look, I say, "See, it says so right here...."

Guys i just posted on the other thread but I will here also(bored at work) the HKS ignition amp that charlie is trying out may do something after all. I dont think of a large gain here but it may deliver smoother power throughtout the rpm range than just our stock system. It amps the leading AND trailing plugs. Also maybe make out stock coil packs last longer?
Its expensive and I cant afford it (almost $400) but it sure could help identify an ignition system that needs improvement.

you all is dynoing Feb 4? I never have and I think I am going to make this one.

i dont think he has dynoed the car with it on yet, and I saw his most recent graph, and it looks a lot better than mine, and he has replaced the coils. I am going to try and make the dyno day, I really want to know if the new plugs and battery helped at all. And if I still have an issue that needs to be addressed before RA.

there is no way that there is a 30hp differance (and LOOK at the torque) in these cars without an explanation--I WILL NOT REST!

Lego, my green filter came in today. Do you leave yours in all the time or do you use it only when you are tracking?

You can leave it in all the time. It is a filter you can clean time and time again.

but charlie does not have fake *** strakes, so that cant be it. must be the hood dampers, or the cool oil filler cap. maybe the team moon window decal, it must be something.

I WILL NOT REST! I dont think Charlie is purposefully holding anything from us guys---nope he wouldnt do that---but damn! 30HP! Yall do realize that is more than people gain from all the legitimate bolt ons one can buy? We got to figue out this mutant car. Is it the upkeep? I mean Charlie is spot on. Does he have better o2 sensors/fuel filters/pumps,plugs, did he get his injectors blueprinted --or is his engine just internally chrome plated so absoulutely no carbon build up.
Im going crazy arent I

I clean and recharge it about every 10K miles or so. It stays in all the time.

I'll bring ketchup, mustard, and snacks.

It isn't going to rain. Possible low clouds in the morning and the rain will stay off to the west till late Saturday.

Hmm......I've got a pretty mean *** recipe for homemade baked beans. That would go good with burgers and brauts. I'm not a beef eater though so if there's room on the grill I could bring some pork tenderloin or chicken wings. Any preferences??

I've also got a cooler I could bring some ice in, but I don't know if it would hold enough for everyone and last the entire day.
