LOL Some friends and I got kicked out of a go cart track in florida for riding the carts a little tipsy.

 

Allright, I talked to Andretti's, we can park along the back row of parking, right along Highway 9. There should be no problem with someone else parked there, and I will try to get there a few minutes early to stake out a claim.

I am all for a couple beers after karting, no problem there, but I do know that they strongly discourage knocking back a few before hand. We will not be the only ones there, there are plenty of kids, and other people there, that would not appreciate getting t-boned becasue one of us had a few heinekens beforehand. Lets keep it safe, and fun at the same time.

well you can have a beer or two and not endanger anyone, hell at the zoom-zoom last weekend i was up drinkin till 4 in the morn playing poker and went to sleep at 5, woke up at 7, got to the event at 8 and proceeded to autox hung over as hell and busted out a 43 Flat in the miata.

 

I'm still going to try to make it but the weather's warmer and there's a big car show from 10-3 tomarrow. Sucks cause I'm kinda obligated to go to the show....at least it's a sure bet the 8 will get some money out of it for some reason people tend to think it's a great lookin 'rare' car, lol. If everyone brought there 8s up here we'd probaly cause numberous wrecks just driving around town.

all right, the car is all clean, and my hands are starting to gt their feeling back. damn it was chilly out there this morning.

time to go drive some gokarts.

 

Sorry, we could not make it. I have to go to the hospital Thursday night. They ran some test and I have to have some more ran on Monday. Anyhow, we have a Landscape business and missed a whole days worth of work Friday so we had to make it up today. We will just have to wait and make it next time. I hope everyone had a blast. We can’t wait to see the photo.

sorry I couldn't join ya'll this afternoon. I had to go to the car show, which went really well, but know i hace a problem with the 8. It's spitting oil out of the rotor housing.....i think. What's this mean?? What the causes of this and what's the symptoms? I have no CEL or any hesitation? I'm guessing something happened and it's not going to be good.

 

Here are the shots from the parking lot. Expect to see some great shots from "Super". He showed me a few on his camera.

The third shot is a composite of two images. We could not get all the cars in one shot. I'm not 100% satisfied but maybe we can make it work on the website. Damn we have a lot of RX8's, and this isn't all of them!

To all who were not there, you missed it. It was a blast, and it was good to see 15 cars show up, the most we have ever had. Our little group is growing.

Actually it wasn't me, it was my camera, L8APEX's ideas, Splan's trigger finger, a few others helping with set up (I can't remember em all) and I just helped. This was a group effort. Sorry you missed it rxeightr.

Keep an eye out... we have an ace photographer lurking amungst us. Look for good things from "super". I might even get to see my picture occasionally now!

Super... those are really good shots for inside that dark building with motion. Also are you using Flash and a database to put your gallery together? I like the way you have done it. Makes me feel right at home, like I'm on my Mac!
