I remember valpac saying he was going over on Friday. But I don't know of anyone esle going over that early.

 

Well, today I secured the materials to make the flag poles, so that the Grassroots Motorsports and Classic Motorsports flags, can fly as flags, rather than hang as banners. I plan to get them finished up tonight, and Barber will be their first use. They are about a foot shorter than I wanted them to be, but only because, a longer pole, would not have fit in the trunk. So we deal with what we have. And if we don't like it, we will look into another solution.

Only a couple more days now, it is going to be a blast.

So for those of you not familiar with our little cult, when you get to the car corral, if you are fairly early, look for the blue EZ-UP with some flags and banners waving from it. Otherwise look for the large collection of RX-8's.

We will be staying over Saturday night only. I think we're going to have to meet at the track because I don't know how long it will take for us to get up there with Rowan. Apparently we will be parking in the expo next to the will-call place so it should be easy to pick up the tickets. I called and they couldn't tell me if I needed a paddock pass for Rowan. She said they may or may not require one. I'm hoping for the not.

I'll be bringing a corn salsa with chips (OK for vegetarians and a little spicy) and some blueberry lemon bread.

I have plenty to do... I just don't want to do it. My mind is RACING!

 

I'm heading over there sometime today to watch the practice runs.

Also, As of now, I think 4 7owners will be coming out to this event tomorrow.

 

Herblenny, I put 3 additional 7 drivers on the list. As it stands right now, we are looking at:

RX-8 - 23
RX-7 - 6
Miata - 1
Mustang - 1
Sequoa - 1

 

That will make for a nice photo shot!!
