I salute you Labop, you guys are my heros. You have put your country first while some of us will be playing on go-karts! I'm 53 and have never served my country (in the military) but I have a tremendous amount of respect for you guys. Please keep us informed and if deployed to Iraq, please stay in touch when possible.

I wanted to post detailed information this evening on how we are to sign up as a group but when i went to sign up myself I found it was not really clear and simple. I have directed an email to Endurance Karting requesting Detailed info for us to sign up individually online but as a Group (Georgia RX8 Club) with Charlie as our Team Manager. Let's hold off on registration until I get this info so we do not make any mistakes in signing up.

Meanwhile... check out the track layout if you haven't already. Great information.

We will need to pick a Hotel as well.

Looks like the policy has changed since I last ran. Please read the registration policy as it looks like we need to pay in advance to reserve a place. I am already reserved and am planning on hoarding gasoline so that I can get there!

Two ways to set up your registration:

Call: 1-866-722-3669

or

Online: http://www.endurancekarting.com
Go through the registration process and choose item #4, "6 Hour Race: Individual" @ $398.00

I called and had her walk me through it because I was originally somewhat confused by the group/individual choices.

They know Charlie there so don't hesitate to drop his name as our group leader.

What about a place to stay, any suggestions?

I'm registered and excited!

BTW... Charlie's avatar is a hoot!

That is why I called. I was confused. I told her I was in the group with Charlie and she told me to sign up as an individual. It was confusing enough that I was not comfortable until I called. I suggest you do the same. Yes 400 smackers is a lot, plus a place to stay. That would go a LONG way to pay for my Fly Wheel but I really want to do this.

Sign-up is still not worked out properly. Online if everyone sign's up as a group then we have a group for every person. If you sign up as an individual (like I did) then you are paying too much. It's just not set up to do it like we are trying to do. Charlie is calling later today to try to get things worked out. i will just get a credit on my CC when it is all cleared up. The idea (according to Charlie) is that with 6 man teams we should be under $300.

Spoke to Charlie, The deal is as I stated earlier. Go ahead and sign up as an individual. Even though it shows a charge of $398, you are not actually billed. It is just a reservation. The pricing will be decided after we define how many will be on a team. If we have 4-man teams it will cost more than if we have 6 man teams. I think we are shooting for the 6 man route. This will get us down below 300 smackers and be a little easier on the wallet. So, go ahead and sign up.

I'm out due to expenses, cost and family obligations. What a bummer!

FYI... It was my understanding that we would not be billed until we signed in for the event. However my credit card was charged and I had to call Endurance Karting to get a credit.

Sorry I can't make it with you guys Charlie.

Sounds like a blast. Guess I'll just have to settle for Andretti's. Nabil, you are having too much fun! :D
