It is just north of the Interstate (I-275) on Dale Mabry. You'll see it on the right right of the street (east) if you're headng north from the interstate.

We'll be there starting around 6:00 so come and meet some other RX-8 owners. Last week we had 8 RX-8s show and the meet went well into the night. I know this is short notice, but if you are in the area, stop by.....

 

I went out there at 6:30, no one was there I wasn;t sure if I had went to the wrong one, so I went to Hilsborough too.

Ya guy, I was at the dale Mabry one after work (5) to 6:15 at that one and then drove over to the Hillsborough one to see if anyone went there. I guess yesterday was not in the cards.

 

I think we JUST missed eachother. LOL

 

Well the Miata group really doesnt like that location anyway. I hope they will change it back to the Hillsborough one. Do you have a preference or a suggestion for a better meet spot?

On a more serious note, I think we could get a lot more exposure if we meet at the local car shows. We may draw in more members, and also have a reason to hang around if there aren't many 8's showing up at the moment. The one in Brandon we used to go to a couple years ago was great! Tons of cars. I don't know if its going on anymore, but I'm sure someone can fill us in on a cool place to meet during the week.

I know of a classic car meet at some burger joint down in st pete/largo on wed or thurs nights.. but I don't think we'd fit in?

 

I have heard from Casey that there are 350Zs and VWs that still meet there on Wed. I think the problem was that the ownership of the lot changed and a threat of towing existed at one point. Maybe we should check it out next week.....
