Our guide will be NavTech, Google Maps, or Tremor's instructions, not me. I know downtown Lakeland and the Tampa & Palm Harbor Ale Houses, but I have never been to the Lakeland Ale House.

Departure time of 5:00 in Riverview (Publix @ Bloomingdale & Providence) is fine with me. We should just beat the Orlando contingent there. I still consider this your party, I'm just happy to serve. (We have lots of Saturday workers among us?)

sounds good, lol. the car is STILL at the dealer, day 5, i dont know if it will be done today or not, but if not me and my girlfiend will be taking her RSX-S to the meet. She will drive, so we will be on time.

 

glad to hear you are still coming, can't wait to see Desiree's car....

 

The directions I gave are from Google just edited a little to clean it up. The directions from 60 may be a little confusing...basically just take 60 to sr37 and make a left, drive north until you see the Ale house on the right (about 7 miles I am guessing).

Yay! Meeting at 5! I can navigate. I was trying a few different routes last night, thinking that 60 might be quicker. Well, its a more direct route, but will probably take an extra 15 minutes. Plus, I don't want another traffic fiasco like we experienced in Orlando. Everyone, bring a few quarters, because we will be hitting a toll road.

Go through the light and turn into the parking lot after the gas station
that is the pkg for MJ Barleyhoppers ( next to Publix)

We are leaving at 5 so you may want to get there a few minutes before.

Thanks to all who made it out and participated in the Lakeland meet. Hope everyone had a good time. Its hard to keep track of all the screenames/names/faces/cars but its getting easier each time we all meet. Hopefully in January or February we can plan a meet around an event of some sort during the day and have some fun.

Way cool meet, everyone! Looks like we've got the makings of a great Central Florida contengent if me plan trips to larger/national events.

 

I had a great time! For those of you that were interested in the Japanese stores in Orlando PM me for info. I know I forgot to give the info out when we went back to the cars. Can't wait to see all of you again!!

HUGE thank you to James for pointing out the camber issue on my car...i'm going to get it to the dealer this week for them to see what's up...

 

I vote the next meet should be in Orlando for those folks who have been driving to Lakeland and Tampa to help motivate new interest in the group. Anyone over there want to set up an autocross event for our next meet? I know it will cost money but what a great opportunity to learn your car's limits safely.

Another thought, we could always plan it around New Year's weekend.....
