I am not following this thread very well. Isn't there supposed to be a boat landing in j-ville within the next week? My vin shows a "in transit" and is heading torwards jacksonville's port. are you guys talking about the second allocation. someone on this site also said that all the cars with navigation were made first so i dont think mazda is doing it neccesarily in "vin" order

 

Yes, there is supposed to be ONE landing within the next week. A second boat, which has just finally departed is not second allocation, per se. Some 2nd allocation cars were on the first boat, and some 1st allocation cars are on the 2nd boat. There may even be some 3rd allocation cars sprinkled amongst those two boats, as well.

 

Plus, those of us that have been followig this car for over a year know that at the Detroit auto show in Jan they said the cars with Nav would be in the Second allocation!

How about that for miscomunication. I hope Mazda wows me with service after I get the car. They hare REALLY screwed up making the people like me that put a down payment in Oct of 2002 feel totally unapreciated. When people can walk up to a dealer (like in SC thread above thread) and get a car the same time I do.

Enough, I will get off my soap box. If my car is not on that second boat. I will not buy the RX-8 to make my point.
