Raleigh area guys last month they had over 300 cars. Lets try to get some rx8 there.

 

guess since it rained it got postponed. Ill check to see when they will have it again. Ive been trying to take the 8 to one of these. Anyone tried to go?

Cars 'n' Coffee at Brier Creek happens the first Saturday morning of each month (that would be yesterday). A couple of hundred classic and performance cars turn up in the shopping center parking lot. Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati, Viper, Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Porsche, Aston-Martin, MGB and Cobras are all represented, as well as dozens of Vettes, 'Stangs, Camaros, and Beemers. Yesterday the only Mazda was an RX-7. I drove up in my '8, but it's a stock daily driver not a show car so I parked off to the side next to a Miata. There's no entry fee or qualification - just show up and find a free parking space.

I don't know if this is a just a Summer thing or if it runs into Fall. I suspect it'll happen next month which will be October 1. If so, I might clean my 8 up a bit and head for the main area. Post back here if any other rotary owners are interested. If we get there early enough we can stake a claim to our own 'rotary section'.

I just got my 8 and I'm definitly interested. If nothing else just want to meet some owners in the area.

 

It starts around 9 - I'll be there a few minutes earlier, say 8:45, to try and snag a slot at the north end, somewhere outside Chili's.
