It will make for a good photo op at MAZCARE, provided we can get them all down into the parking lot. Might look more like a 12 car pile up with them piled in like that.

Late comer..
Hey guys - I'm new to the group, and I think I'd like to go. What's the drive like? What kinds of fees are at the track so I know what to expect? I've never gone to anything like this... so I'm very interested if you'll have me along.

tha brings up a good question, I don't know where it would be addressed, what are tickets to the races going to cost. It will not keep me out of this, but just to know what to expect.

Is this what we should do?
$25 - Saturday General Admission (Tickets will be $30 at the gate)
$10 - Paddock Access (Tickets will be $20 at the gate)

EVERYONE - HOLD OFF ON BUYING TICKETS
We have a special deal coming up to save you some money, get special group parking, and put a little money in a club donation. I'll post the details as soon as we get a few answers back from Bruno Event Team - Zoom Motorsports. You will need to use a special code for this to work.

"Special Car Club Enthusiasts Program"
OK here's the deal, we are waiting on our club to be listed on the Barber ticket purchase website. When this is completed , you will be able to log on and put our special code in. I will PM each of you the code when the ticket website has been updated.
1. You purchase any general admission ticket at regular price and you get the $10 Paddock pass for FREE.
2. If you drive your RX-8 to the event, you get to park in the "Preferred Car Corral Parking Access". (So much for doubling up!)
3. The club that sells the most tickets will win the PARADE LAP during Sunday's race. Guess we probably don't have to worry about that since most of us will just be there on Saturday.
4. $5.00 for each ticket is donated to our club... (I'm sure this will spark a discussion)
=============
Here are a few questions I asked and the responses I got. Just thought I would clarify a few things.
1. "$5 donation to your car club for each ticket sold". So if we purchase 15 tickets, we will receive $75 for our club? How do you distribute this to the club and at what time?
Answer:
At the end of the event we get a report of how many ticket each car club had purchased and we send a check to your club.
2. "Car Corral Parking Pass", is this a selection after choosing our
car club from the drop down menu and will everyone get a pass that
sign's up for a ticket?
Answer:
When you buy your ticket it will ask you if you would like a car corral parking pass. Only those who request a parking pass will receive one. If there are two people in one vehicle, obviously only one parking pass will be needed, but both individuals will need a ticket.
3. Can you be specific where the Car Corral is located?
Answer:
The car corral is located trackside in our vendor expo area on the back straight. If you take a look at the map on the website, you can see that it is located right after the entry gate #2.
4. Do we need to purchase all the tickets at one time or is this on an individual basis and as long as they choose the correct club everything gets appended to our group.
Answer:
Tickets can be purchased on an individual basis as long as they choose the correct club.

Silver, thanks for looking into all of that. I will look for the PM when we can go ahead and buy tickets.

We'll need a secret handshake.
I'm sure future motoring events and vendor/parts deals could be had. Maybe Racing Beat or folks like that might want to work a deal out with us. I've heard of the Corvette and Porsche Groups doing things like that. They may be bigger than us though.
