Atlanta - Halloween @ Starlight Drive-in Saturday October 30th @ 7:00pm
One of my favorite SE RX club traditions, another "Thrills & Chills" Scary Movie night @ the Starlight Six Drive In. I believe this doesn't conflict with the other rx-8 happenings

Thanks for sticky-ing this.
The drivein is like bbq, tailgate party, kegger, and movie night all wrapped up in one event.
Bring some blankets or lawn chair to sit on. A light jacket is good incase it's breezy. You can bring in food & drinks, but keep them in the trunk until you get in.
In the next few weeks we'll know more about movie times and which movie to check first.

OK .. we need some local RX-8s representing. Good that you guys are coming down from TN. It will be good to meet some more rotorheads.
Looks like, so far, we will meet at the Varsity Downtown Atlanta around 5PM, then all head over to the Drive-in together. Let us know if you need directions to the Varsity. Visit the website here: http://www.thevarsity.com/

i will be in town...i have to stay in ATL for business all week...so i will probably meet up with you guys....don't know if I will make it to the Varsity on time but i'll try to get there...

Hey XeRo, if you are in town all week, come out to the American Pie on Thursday night. There is another thread in this section about the meet at American Pie. We can keep you busy socializing with rotorheads in the evenings.

thanks Clayton...i'll actually be not to far away...i have meetings with Polycom off GA 400 so i'll be close to everything going on...never been to the drive-in but when i ate meat..i frequented the Varsity..
heheh...un-civilization is West Point, GA...it's where i work...i live just outside of Auburn, AL

OK .. we are meeting at the Varsity around 5PM .. Those who want to eat there, should get in and get something. Then we should leave the varsity between 6PM and No Later than 6:30PM .. Drive in opens at 6:30PM .. that way we can get in and park together.
The choices of movies are either The Grudge & The Forgotten .. OR .. Saw & Cellular ..
Both start at 7:30. But they are close enough together that if we want to split and park in the movie area we want to see, then we can visit in between movies.

What happened to all the RX-8s that were coming out? We saw a red 8 pull into the Varsity parking lot and then get back in quickly and leave. We thought you would drive around to the upper parking deck to see if you could find us. We were upstairs in the upper area. Sorry you missed us.
Lewis and his g/f Kim made it out to join us. Thanks for representing the 8 Lewis.
The weather was great for going to the Drive-in.
I hope more can join us the next time we get together.

We went last night to our local drive-in. 1st time this year we have been.
Interesting double feature -- Shall We Dance, followed by Team America.
