Anyone going to (or have been to) the Atlanta Autoshow at the Atl World Congress Ctr? Anything special from Mazda there?

 

Mazdaspeed 6 there, NO new mx5, kinda ho-hum. Not the best show but worth seeing anyway.

 

Heading down there this afternoon. I'll post some snapshots if cameras are allowed.

 

I've been looking for that. Anyway, I'll look for you while I am there.

 

Saw Nabil (well, he saw me). Took 240 pictures. Nothing real noteworthy from Mazda. The 8 was still seeing some oohs and aahs, even though its been out a while.

Saw the Saturn Sky and think it looks great. I actually liked the Charger R/T and loved the Ford GT, Mustang GTR and shelby cobra concept. There were ferraris and Lambos there and a few Lotus Elise cars.

I'll post a link to my pictures when they are ready.

 

I'll be up there tonight probably from about 7:30 'til closing at 10PM. I'm bummed that the new MX-5 is not gonna be there, but I'm looking forward to checking out the Sky and the Solstice. Think I'll wear my RX-7.com T-shirt so as to tip off any other Rotorheads that I iz one o' the faithful.

 

I did not see the Solstice there, maybe I missed it. If it's there, take some shots for us...
