we have to wear a helmet. They have them so we don't have to go out and buy one. If you do it has to be a snell 2000 and up. chance I will call you the day before so you know where we meet up and time we head out. the event starts around 10am and goes all day. Currin you should sign up.. watching isn't the same as driving in it. it only 35 bucks.

 

i thought it just had to have the dot approval sticker? how do you know what "snell" rating a helmet has....i think i want to buy my own....

 

it has to be snell2000 or 2005 or something like that... it will have it on the helmet. the motorcycle shop has a few closed face helmets (halls motorsports) but thats about it. am trying to find a open face helmet. go to the scca site it should be able to answer your questions

 

Currin, not to put pressure on you or anything, but if you're going to drive all that way it would be a waste to not try it. You're not going to be the only newbie there. Your gonna kick yourself after the first couple laps if you just watch.
