anyone in mobile,al
I am a new rx-8 owner. Is there anyone in the area that can give me some pointers on these cars, besides the forum. Is there anything that goes on near by besides driving north with these cars? Any go shops, techs, etc. And yes i know how to use the search button. But no luck so far.

im also a new owner........i just moved to mobile.........i drive a velocity red mt......apearance package.......soon to have clear corners, front splash guards and a rear rotary accent........what do you drive

06 shinka mt with ms intake and exhaust, also am the one of the manager at dean mccrary imports. we took up mazda from grady. But we don't have any good mazda techs. if you need any mazda parts i can get them at cost

I've been in Mobile about a year and a half now and I had my car serviced at Grady - I was less than impressed. I hope the folk at McCrary can pick up some decent techs. I really don't want to take my car up to Birmingham just to have it serviced! I also need to find a good place to get the dings removed - people seem to bang into the car here more than anywhere else I've lived!

yeah i know what you mean..........its like ever since i moved here i have people trying to dent my car left and right.........its weird bc before here i never felt like everyone was out to get me........

yeah me too. people here don't care about their cars... so they other care about other peoples. Right now the mazda techs we have don't touch mine and i wouldn't trust them to touch yours. If i have any questions i have the vw/audi techs i hang out with, look at it. we all went racing when i had my vw, and now they give me a hard time b/c i have a jap car... just give dean sometime.. if anything just ask me I will help.

went to daphne mazda today and was really impressed...........its worth the trip.........and theres no cops on the brigde.....so you can drive fast......real fast
....

I know there are more rx8 in mobile... I see them everywhere, chance you know what I am talking about... If there is anyone in the area ie-- fl,miss, al... There is a get together here in town every friday and sat. night. WE NEED MORE ROTARIES!!!

I'll be moving to the greater Fort Rucker/Dothan/Enterprise area this summer. After we get settled we'll do a tour of the south - maybe we could meet up and get some of all-y'all to show us around?

I know this is kind of of subject but what class do you run in? And where do you guys meet before? It being my first time i would at least like to meet some of the guys that are going to be laughing at me. My RX is bone stock for now im hoping i can post at least a decent time in the stock class.

You have to sign up before the event!!! I run in the STU class, but Chance should be out this month and might be in the BS class (stock).. The guys there will put u in to the right class based on mods... Hey this is only my fourth time and no one laughs at you... they do me.. but thats a different story. I go with a couple of vwdubs and we meet at a local bruos. Pm me and I will give you some more info.. depending of how many people sign up, is how early we leave. April 27 is the date sign up before then..
