I just found out that this Thursday night @ 7:30PM @ Dreamland BBQ downtown birmingham on the southside, some rotary owners are meeting up for dinner. Everyone's welcome!!

We do about 1 or 2 dinners a month..
Most of us drive our daily car's though.. but very knowledgeable about rotary cars.. and some are 8 owners.... I actually met someone at Trussville today who bought a brand new Shinka 8 who might come tomorrow.
Also, If you guys don't mind, I would like to come by on June 15th... also let me know if other rotorheads are welcome to that dinner.. I'll email everyone on my list.

Funny thing this morning....I was on Lakeshore, and a policeman pulled up beside me and motioned for me to roll down my window. He said he had a 2004 RX8 and asked if I liked mine. I told him I loved it, but then the light changed before I could say anything else.

something has come up at work and i won't be able to make it this time around. there have been several derailments here in Montgomery Yard and I have to be on a "safety blitz" team to see if we can curb some of this handywork others are doing. keep me posted L-Co on future events and i will do my best to make the next one.

Last year, we had 120+ cars signed up but due to the weather condition, we had about 70 showed up (including 5-7 RX8s). Next year, It might be the BIGGEST rotary gathering east of MS. I'm shooting for 200 cars.
Also, Next weekend (June 24th), CAMS (Central Alabama Mazda (Miata) Society is having a Tech Day at Med Center Mazda in Pelham, AL. Come out and hang out with us.
