I see there is alot of 8 owners in south florida but how many of you are in the Jacksonville area?

 

I'm here! There are a couple of us that used to try to get together every once in a while, but was usually kind of slim. We had a big meet with an awesome turn out last year at the Dealer in Orange Park. Bunch of the Tampa, Orlando Daytona etc. people showed. I have been thinking about contacting the new dealer at The Avenues to see if they are interested in something. I have also went to a couple of the 7Club get togehters and they are usually pretty fun.

I know there are a lot of 8's here, just can't seem to get them all on the same page!

Awsome man I havnt gotten my rx-8 yet but hopefully its going to arrive in 2 weeks. Maybe we should get some 8's to show up at the sonic at Beach Blvd on Tuesdays and Saturdays there is kinda of a car show there and ALOT of cars show up.

 

Yes, there are a few of us.

Very few in JAX tend to meet up for groups, etc.

I have been autocrossing, and active with the FLRX8Club.Net group.

Next autocross is Reynolds Industrial Park on 2007-03-25.

Between now and then, lets try to meet up somewhere.

sounds good also I was thinking maybe we could get some people together next month, includeing some miata and rx-7 owners I know and do a cruise down to say Daytona? I see alot of rx-8s roaming the streets here in Jax and I know there are alot of mazda owners but we never do any cruises like on the west coast.

 

my parents live down in Jacksonville, so i come down there every once in a while. i'll give you guys a hollar next time i'm coming down. let me know if anyone is coming up to the Hampton Roads area of VA too.

 

I'm here in Gainesville.... if you do the trip out to daytona then I am up for that.... the MAZDA cruise sounds good too... I actually own a 1991 Miata (MX-5), a 1995 Mazda MX-6, a 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT 6SPD, and a 2005 Mazda 3..... :-) I also have a few friends that own multiple miata's... they are lots of fun on the autocross track at Gainesville Raceway.... We have a pretty good meet everyweek here in Gainesville on Tuesday nights.... not a whole lot of mazda's but usually everything from a Twin Turboed G-35, to a turbo Lexus SC300,bunch of 350's and S200's.... we have a mixed variety, but we have fun....
