school and work has gotten to me. Im planning on cleanin my SSV valve next week and if that doesnt help i will be likely replacing my fuel pump =D

I'll be at the meet...My mechanic (Edgar at Mazda Pro's) goes all the time...Hence how I know the guy. I'm dropping $2 g's next week to replace the transmission with a used unit with 46k miles on it plus replace the Master and slave cylendars. I'm also throwing in a steel braided clutch line from rx7store.com. I will finally be able to shift like a normal person and it will all get done by Friday of next week.

Next stop is reinstall ignition and get the car tuned. I say this all by February. Still crossing my fingers for Turbo next year.

 

2G's for a used tranny?? What kind of tranny? did it came out of a Lambo? Do you still have the renny? **** last time I bought a used RX8 tranny (Ive gone through plenty, trust me) It had about 15K ( looked like brand new) and paid 900.

 

Thats for the tranny, Master and slave cylendar, plus all labor. The tranny is $1300. I wish I could find one for $900 but Edgar mentioned it was coming with 6 months of warrantee.

 

Well I had no body damage. It was a drift gone bad. Lol I bent some rods in the back, completely busted a wheel, and the tire is probably shot. I already bought the parts I need. A new set a wheels, and some extra parts I needed. Getting them installed next week! I haven't driven my 8 in over a week and its KILLING me!!!! Lol

 

Ouch. You gota be careful with that stuff. Good to hear its getting fixed though. Ill feel your pain on not driving on sunday which is when ill be popping my hood and going to work on my 8. I'm not sure how long its gonna take me either. I will be done in time for the meet though. Got the day off btw!!!

 

yesterday morning, i got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. they were all impacted and the bottom two were coming in at 70 degree angles and needed to be cut/broken up before being removed piece at a time. all i want to do is get in my 8 and drive, but i cant. I've been vomiting and stuff because i was prescribed two medications including Vicodin (Watson 387). last time i drove my 8 was wednesday and im already missing it.
