I have an True Red 07 Mazdaspeed3 GT (GT = Leather Trimmed Seats, Auto Wipers, Auto Xenon Headlights, Trip Computer, Climate Control, Bose sound system) with 6.7k miles on it that i am hoping to trade for a Brilliant Black 6Spd RX-8 with <30k miles and a moonroof, plus money. how much money would depend on options, mileage, and condition of the 8. Id like an 8 as close to stock as possible. This car is also for sale outright for $23,500 with all mods.

About the Speed3: Purchased Dec 8th 2006, oil changed at 1k, 3k, and 6k miles. Transmission Oil changed to Redline at 6k miles. Currently has a MS intake, Hotchkis swaybars, AWR rear engine mount, TWM short shifter with shifter bushings, 2o% tint all around. I have a set of 5-spoke Black Kyowa Racing wheels that would also come with it if the buyer wanted (or i could remount the tires on the stock wheels. currently my winter wheels are on the car, which would not come with it.) There are some small scuffs on one bolster of the driver-side leather seat, but otherwise car is in excelent condition. Any of the above mods could easily be removed, which would then obviously affect the trade price.

I am located in central IL, but would be willing to drive if the deal is reasonable.

As a personal reference, I am an active member of a prominant mazda 3 forum, and have been part of multiplle group buys and personal transactions there. (i am unsure of what this forums policy is on posting links to other forums, so i will refrain from posting a link.)

this car is straight up for-sale too. asking $24,000 with all mods. may just rewrite the post better later.

I may know someone that is interested, it's an 04 BB Sport with about 30K miles. I'll pass the info along. But FYI your car NEW is only 24 and change, mods don't typically add any value and these cars don't have any dealer markup around here anymore so 24 sounds a bit off for one that already had 7K miles on it.

i'd be willing to negotiate on price, but i based it on asking around 3 forums and looking around on autotrader. i had more than one user independantly respond "around 24k", and 24 was pretty much dead average of what was being asked used online, so it seemed like a reasonable place to put it with mods.
