Bye 9k
Hope you find a good home for this. If I had the money and the time I'd love to fly down and drive it up here and make it my summer only 8, while I keep the other for the winter.
Though I think I'd scrape the **** out of the bumper and skirts on my driveway, so it's probably for the best.

I have not gotten any serious interest. I'm moving and don't really want to take it but if I don't get a fair price I will keep it and swap it.

St. Anto wey.
Thanks man, I may not go anywhere, lol
I am building a new house and just don't have the room for it to sit as I am planning on building an E92 M3, 335is, or an Z435is. I'm just done with rotaries honestly and watching where this platform has been for the last few years and where it is going is frustrating.

I think the only hope is that we can see a resurgence of interest as prices drop into the "cheap platform that you're willing to break" ranges. Unfortunately, cheap and RX8s don't seem to have ever gone together. Where they did, it wasn't ever really a good pairing. That'll also mean a massive influx of people who are going to do bad builds, possibly driving the long time crowd away from the social side of things.

Hell it'll look great in there, sort of a ketchup & mustard kind of thing!

I'm also building a house right now, should be done in September so bring the car on up here and I'll "store" it for you for free!
Heck if he brings up here to store I would consider buying it from him. The cost of bringing it up here is pretty high. It is a sweet ride but it could be too low for the Alberta potholes.

Hmmm. Rebuild my engine or go down and buy this car. Difficult decisions.... at the same time if your actually selling your car for 9k Im worried about putting any money into mine :/

Seems like a pretty easy decision to me..... lets all be honest, $9k for this car and all the parts you are getting with it is a steal, if I lived in the US this car would already be mine. You would spend double or triple that trying to replicate this on your own car..... I'm probably 9K deep into mine and that's without the price of the car, a rebuilt engine from one of the most reputable builders there are and a non-upgraded turbo.

A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into that car (and money), whomever gets it is one lucky sob.

Yeah man it is disheartening for sure and if I do sell, I can't ever look back because I don't want to see my car posted up plastidipped, a GT wing on the back, and an LED light bar mounted in front of the intercooler, .
It was a lot of blood sweat and tears, but I made some lifelong friends that have moved on to other like platforms so the fun continues.
Oh and I replaced the oil temp gauge sending unit with a new one so it's working fine now.

With a child coming in the very near future, I plan on jumping over to the boosted German side with an S5 or RS5 Sportback. Given the massive performance jump and practicality, I'm not sure if there's a reason to keep the RX-8 around other than for sentimental values.
Good luck with the sale. I hope your end of the stick isn't shorter than it already is with your posted price.
