Track RX8 for sale! Updated Sale Price: $7,500
I put together a list of the parts installed in the car for the updated price. Between aftermarket and OEM parts, the grand total cost adds to $27,394. Please carefully review the list of parts included in the ad to avoid misunderstandings.
The last modifications (less than a year ago) performed on the car were a 2009 R3 Manual Transmission 03-0000-P6Y1, 2009 R3 Differential, ACT Racing Clutch 2nd Stage, Adaptronic Modular Plug-In ECU eMod013, AEM X-Series Digital Fuel Pressure Gauge - 0-100, AEM X-Series Wideband Controller Gauge A/F Ratio UEGO AFR, Aeromotive Fuel Line Adapter Kit, Flex Fuel Sensor & Fittings, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel Surge Tank, Mishimoto Oil Catch Can, Performance Oil Cooler Thermostat - 165⁰F, SuperPro Differential Center Support Bushing Kit - 80 Durometer, Venturi Jet Kit & Fuel Fittings & Hoses, and Walbro Hellcat Fuel Pump. Most of the modification was done to run with C85 racing fuel which was generating 216WBH/NA in the dyno.
I am giving up everything for just a fraction of the cost to recover some of the cost since the car still track-worthy and is just in the need of a new car-enthusiast owner and new engine. Additional pictures are available upon request.
what would be a good cell phone to reach you at, I’m very interested
Hi Josh,
I'm writing just in case you still interested. I recently update the parts included in the car and the sale cost. Basically, I'm installing everything back to the car to make it more attractive for sale without a huge increase in cost. Thanks.
Jose.S
So basically to be clear the car has no engine or the engine is blown?
Correct. All you need is a Renesis engine core to put it to run since all the peripheral's engine parts are included with the Adaptronic ECU. Additional OEM and aftermarket racing replacement parts are available for sale separately.
Thanks,
JoseS
May I ask besides a new engine needed, what else is required?
I understand its modified to racing and you are put things back. All i really looking for is original car for daily use. If you still have it in summer I'm interested to consider about it. Because the rx8 engine near me was out of stock

Hi Forgoter, if you looking for a daily driving car, I have to say that this is not what you need. Currently the car interior was strip out completely, and isn't street legal. Sorry!

I have an RX8 with an extensively rebuilt engine with less than 5000 miles on it. More modestly modified but perhaps also better for daily use. California has decided to make aftermarket tunes illegal so I'm not sure if it can be registered in California. Will know more in December when smog comes due. I can provide a list of modifications if interested.
A guy from Washington state came and bought the car without the whole drivetrain. He wanted to install a modified 20B engine to generate 1,000 HP with a special transmission and driveshaft. So, right now I'm selling all the remaining parts that he left behind, like all the Renesis engine parts (iron covers, housings, shaft, erc.), peripheral's, fuel system parts, intake and exhaust parts, new 2009 R3 transmission, drive shafts (OEM & Racing), sensors, gaskets, etc. I can't remember all, but I'm putting together a list to update the post. Thanks
