I'm moving back to the states in a couple weeks and need a car. I've decided on an rx-8, preferably in White or Yellow. I'll be moving to El Paso TX for the military and I'm originally from the Atlanta, GA area so I won't mind flying to a place nearby one of those two areas to pick up the car(but please don't waste my time with a salvage car or something like that).

My budget is around $10k, depending on the condition. I'm looking at under 100k miles, no accidents, and I'd prefer 2005 or newer so that it'll have the engine under warranty for at least a year or so. I don't care about leather, sun roof, nav, etc. I plan on light track duty and using it as a daily driver.

Just an FYI, if you are looking for a 2005+ and in yellow, stop. It was only produced in 2004. .. But good luck, sorry to say I am not selling my LY, I love her :D

Haha, thanks. I think I'd read that earlier and I was starting to realize it("damnit, why are all these yellow ones 04's?"). So far it looks like 2 people near Ft. Bragg(+ttame's blue one) have yellow ones in good condition they'll sell for my price range. Looks like I might need to get my flight changed and make a trip back home unless something better goes for sale in California/TX. I forgot how big of a pain in the *** it was not to have a car.

@mushkid: Yeah, I saw that. Miami to west TX would be a hell of a drive though.
