SOLD: MazdaSpeed Race Car
I am switching to an RX8 race car so I need to sell the MazdaSpeed Miata Turbo.
SCCA Touring 3 prepared road race car. Also perfect for NASA PT class and HPDE. Has an 8 point roll cage, Cobra racing seat, AutoPower 6 pt racing seat belts, removable Momo steering wheel, two sets of tires(Hossiers) and rims (Kosei and Motorsports Dynamic), Spec Miata suspension, hardtop bolted in place, boost gauge, hour meter, fire system. The car is registered and can be street driven. Cat and all emission equipment is in place. It passes Nevada and California smog tests. No muffler exhaust system. Air bags & radio have been removed for racing (I sold the airbags). Less than 5.5K miles. This is the perfect track car or dedicated race car. NOW ONLY $15k.
Some pics at: http://www.mazda-speed.com/gallery/album01
Spares include rotors, calipers, inter-cooler, cat, stock muffler, hubs, plugs, wires, stock driver seat, stock radio and other minor items (plugs, wires, oil filter).

Just as a point of interest... why have you decided to switch... to rotary power for your race car? we all love a good story if you care to share... and welcome to the addiction BTW
ps your car is very tempting but I have $$ earmarked for possible er..ahh.. upgrades

I am planning on running as part of a two car team to share data, set ups and spares. Two cars working together and sharing the data from the data system stand a better chance than on single car. I also have a potential sponsor who specializes in rotaries.
I will miss the Miata. It has great brakes, handling and light weight.

It is rated at 178 from the factory. I have not dyno'ed it. My wife has the same car as a street car with an intake, Xede piggy back computer and K & N put out 190 at the wheels. I can not do those mods to the race car in the class I raced.
