I think that car is being sold locally and has a salvage title. Honestly the car has been apart and put back together and there were some wiring harness issues but the engine is newly rebuilt. It would need a good looking over. VS8 is the username selling it and he is a decent guy. Honestly though I would save up another couple grand and get a clean titled well maintained 04' with a new rebuilt engine (a lot of these around due to the recall) in the 10k range. Just use your head.

Yeah no offense to the seller but I wouldn't suggest this car. The engine wont turn and it will need money to get it into working condition.

Hmmmm, a warrantied engine? Doubtful. Mazda would not put in a new engine in a salvaged car unless you paid them cash money and the labor would be crazy expensive.

but even with a rebuilt or salvage title, if Mazda put a new engine in it they wouldnt warranty it going forward.
