SOLD

I regrettably have to list my 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT up for sale. The only reason I have to do this is I just lost my source of a steady income, I would not sell this very fun to drive car if I did not have to. If you have never driven an RX-8 you are missing out. The Rotary engine is a blast to drive and the amazing weight distribution of the RX-8 combined with the large front doors and rear suicide doors make this car perfect for many lifestyles. I bought this car from a dealer here in Houston as a used car about 3 years ago, the owner before me was a young family who loved the rear suicide style doors so they could easily load and unload their child into the seat in the rear, yet they loved the sporty feel of the Zoom-Zoom inspired Mazda RX-8. I have had this car as a 2nd car (for highway trips) for about 3 years now hence the low mileage, but I lost my job so I am forced to let go at a reduced price (considering all the upgrades). Mazda just a few months ago replaced the engine under warranty because I had done all the required maintenance through their dealerships. Please do not reply unless you are a serious buyer, thanks, info below:

GT package from the factory includes:
-6 Speed Manual Transmission
-2 tone leather seats through out the interior (the Black and Red leather colors compliment each other very nicely in a sports car)
-Heated seats
-Power everything (windows, side mirrors)
-Powered sunroof (however the power motor on the sunroof is not currently working, Mazda said it will be $200 total to replace the sun roof motor, I would have already done it if I had not lost my job)
-Cruise Control, and radio/cd controls on steering wheel

Upgrades (price listed is for the item this does not include installation):
-Brand new Mazda replaced Renesis Wankel Rotary Engine, new engine has under 3,000 miles on it ($2,000 upgrade with extended 100k mile warranty on engine)
-Mazda Factory Aero Kit + Mazda Front Mudflaps + Mazda Chrome Exhaust Finisher + Mazda Chrome Side Sills ($1000 upgrade)
-Racing Beat 3" exhaust (nice deep rumble sound, not loud at all $675 upgrade)
-Professionally High Polished Stock 18" Rims (I had the stock 18" rims from Mazda high polished at a professional shop here in Houston, they look like chrome but are still lighter than chrome $400 upgrade)
-4 BRAND NEW performance tires Sumitomo HTR ZIII size is 255/40-18, which is wider than stock, but same exact diameter so speedometer is spot on, tires have less than 3,000 miles on them ($650 upgrade)
-2 Brand New Brake Rotors on front (Power Slot Power Alloy Cryo-Treated Slotted Rotor with painted Black Rotor Hat to prevent rusting $300 upgrade + Hawk racing pads another $100 upgrade)
-INGS+1 Rear Spoiler imported from Japan this is the real deal ($700 upgrade + $200 paint and installation) I still have the stock Mazda spoiler and can include it if you really want it for some odd reason
-Shine Auto Burnout Type II front spoiler ($350 upgrade +$200 paint and installation)
-F1 Pinnacle Tint ($350 upgrade guaranteed never to fade or interfere with electronics)
-Tein S Tech Springs (brings the car to level front to back, stock springs will be included in sale if ever you wanted to go back to the stock which is higher in the front $200 upgrade)
-Brand new Spark Plugs, Wires, and Coils under 3,000 miles on these ($250 upgrade before installation)
-Clutch Pedal Assembly Professionally Welded to reinforce the structural integrity of the pedal to prevent any breaking ($50 upgrade)
-4th Brake light installed below bumper in Rotor Shaped enclosure converted to work with running lights and brake lights, real deal ordered from Japan ($300 upgrade before installation and LED bulb)
-Marker colored LED's all throughout outside of car, brakes, turn signals, running lights, etc ($150 upgrade)
-White LED's all around inside ($100 upgrade)
-6K Xenon headlights ($80 upgrade)
-Headlight "Eyelids" Painted Brilliant Black to match rest of car ($75 upgrade)
-Painted to match front grille ($75 upgrade)
-Side Sills Painted Brilliant Black to match rest of car ($50 upgrade)
-High Polished Front Rotary Accent ($100 upgrade)
-Clear Corners ($70 upgrade)

Note: The photos shown are a few months old, the new tires, and new brake rotors were not installed yet in the pictures. Also since I took the pictures shown I have removed the front fog lights (I like the cleaner look). I will shine her up and take some more pics shortly. This car is sold as-is, there is the normal door dings and rock chips that are to be expected with a car with 70k miles on it. This car runs smooth with the new engine installed, the transmission shifts smooth through all gears, however the 1-2 shift is touchy at times but is not that bad at all and definitely a reliable driver, I am just trying to be 100% honest and I only mention this because I am a perfectionist. I have taken very good care of this car and want to see it in good hands. Thanks for looking. If you are SERIOUSLY interested e-mail me at jumpmanjrh@aol.com, I can send you more info or my phone number if necessary. Thank you for looking. $11,000 and you can have a very tastefully upgraded RX-8.

No I want to keep the spoiler as part of the car for the new owner.

I am showing car to someone tomorrow, if he doesn't buy it I should have new photos up tomorrow.
