I have a 2007 RX-8 whose motor just konked out. 2/19/2023. Body is in great shape but rust bubbles forming on both rear wheel wells at top of curve. Contact me for further info at 248-949-9490. I have a manual 2009 RX8 in the Boston, MA area. ~94,000 miles. Engine is not getting compression, but otherwise the car works well. Engine turns over.
Does have a working sunroof. Sunroof does not leak. PM me for price and photos of undercarriage if interested.
I am also looking for a roller in the SF Bay Area. I have 2 running RX8’s, one for the track and one for the street. I am looking for a roller to start a new project.

how about one with an engine that’s still good? I’ve got a 2004, manual tranny, body very nice, low miles. Just sits mostly, I need to sell it.
I have a 2004 with sunroof in Peoria, IL. Tip seals are shot and needs an engine rebuild. Body has a couple of rust spots but everything is in good to great condition. Winning blue w/some Mazda Speed extras.
I have one near DFW-TX for anyone in that area, but it’s definitely a future race car project, which is why I have it but am not likely to ever get to maybe
non-sunroof body is solid and rust free, but most of the interior stripped, no exhaust system, bad engine runs poorly as would be expected on one rotor (or did last time I cranked it 6 months ago), clear coat is peeling off from a hard life out in the sun prior to my buying it, etc.
