For sale is my 2011 RX-8 Grand Touring with ~46K miles on the chassis and 122 miles on the replacement (reman) engine and clutch so far. The engine was replaced under warranty on May 29, 2019 at El Dorado Mazda in McKinney, TX.

The car has always been garage kept, and the body and interior rate 8.5 to 9 out of 10. Paint is very good to excellent, headlights are clear, no dashboard cracks or other interior problems, save for some typical wear on the driver seat bolster. The body has 2 door dings that I can find. One rim has a ding on the edge. There is no other appreciable curb rash on the rims. This is one of the nicer ones you will ever see.

North Texas car = zero rust.

This car has a 6 speed MT, and the shifting behavior is perfect in every gear.

The drivetrain is stock. The only mods I have done to the car relate to suspension, brakes, cooling, ignition, and exhaust. It has:

Ohlins coilovers
Progress MX-5 front sway bar (considered medium for an RX-8)
Flyin' Miata MX-5 adjustable end links front and rear (correct length for ride height of 13.5")

All new fluids - engine oil (dealership 5W20), transmission oil (Redline MT-90), differential oil (Redline 75W90), brake fluid (Redline RL-600), coolant (Mazda FL-22)
New refrigerant with engine replacement
4 wheel alignment at the time of engine replacement (dealership)
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires (80%)

Yeah, I think a college student might neglect maintenance but not the car itself.
