2004 Velocity Red GT Indianapolis Indiana

2004 Mazda RX-8 GT with 53K miles. This car has been well cared for and virtually problem free during ownership. The color is velocity red and still shines like the day it was purchased. Shortly after buying I had Ziebart Diamond Gloss Paint Protection applied. The car has always been garaged both during the day and night. I have parked in a covered parking garaged at work throughout the time I have owned the RX-8. The car has been only lightly driven during the winter when the roads are clear. Since it is the GT model it comes with a lot of extras that were standard on the car. I have also added several things, mostly cosmetic.

Standard Features:

6 Speed Manual Transmission
Sunroof
Red/Black Leather Seats
Power Driver Seat
Power Doors/Windows/Mirrors
Bose Audio with 6 CD Changer
Appearance Package with Front Air Dam
Heated Seats and Mirrors
Xenon Headlights
Fog Lamps
Stability Control
Steering wheel audio and cruise controls
Limited Slip Differential
Aluminum Foot Pedals

Add Ons:

Greddy Cat Back Exhaust
TSW Thruxton 18" Wheels
Silver Side Strakes
30% Tinted Windows
Ziebart Diamond Gloss Paint Protection
Front and Rear Rotary Accents
XM Commander Satellite Radio Hardwired to Head Unit
RX-8 Rotary Washer Cap
Mazdaspeed logo Coolant Cap
Mazdaspeed logo Oil Cap
RX-8 Logo Brake Light
B-Quiet® Extreme Installed Under Trunk Liner
Racing Beat Oil Cooler Screens
JDM Clear Corner Side Markers

The TSW Thruxton wheels look very good on this car. They have some light scratching around the rim, typical with wear. I have worked hard to keep them in good shape. The car has Bridgestone Potenza tires on it which are worn. I also have a set of Kumo Ecsta All Season tires which have about half the life left and I am going to be putting these on prior to final sale.

I have the owners manual as well as the original sticker. Routine maintenance and oil changes have been done principally at Tom Wood Mazada. Within the first 6 months the catalytic converter was replaced under warranty. Otherwise there have been no mechanical issues during the entire time of ownership. It has a new front mask and a new front grill. Both were replaced about a year ago when the it was backed into in a parking lot. There is a light indentation on the drivers side rear door that is hard to see and only visible close up or at the right angle. As you can see from the photos, the car really shines and retains its original appearance. Pretty amazing considering it is almost 4 years old.

I have several special items which I will throw in with the sale. I have the Mazda Promotional literature for the RX-8 and the original 2004 accessory list, both pictured below. I also have the Road and Track RX-8 Preview Special Edition Magazine. I have a never used stainless steel red and black RX-8 Coffee mug in mint condition. I also have a Super Slicks RX-8 remote control car, barely used, in perfect working order. I will include all these extra items upon a successful agreement to purchase the vehicle that results in a final sale.

Please contact me with any questions via PM or at 317-260-8833. Tons of photos below.

Velocity Red

You have the exact car I want right now, unfortunately I don't have the funds at this time. It looks even better with the Purdue Plates on it! Go Boilers, and yes, seeing your post makes me miss Indiana (the state, that is, of course not the school!)

I've been looking around indy for one for about a year. I havent found one with the price i want though so i havent pulled the trigger. This one is getting close to teh price range i am looking for. The car looks amazing. I am partial to one with a wing in the back though. I'm not sure how much that would cost me. I need to check my finances and see how close i could come.

The Mazda part is around $350 although you will occasionally see people doing trunk swaps for wing/no wing and a much better price like 0.

I think the car has cleaner lines without the wing but it is really a matter of personal preference.

You can also get non OEM wings that look just like the Mazda wing for various prices, some below $100.
