I've been looking into other sports cars for a little while, and the just-completed engine replacement on my RX-8 has led me to pull the trigger on selling it. I love driving the car, but it's time to try something else, and I need to make room in the garage.
Power glass moonroof, 6-disc CD changer, Bose audio.
Michelin Pilot Sport All-Seasons 225/45R18. ~17k miles on tires.
Racing Beat oil cooler and A/C condenser screens installed.
OEM carpet floor mats and Mazda all-weather floor mats -- both sets included.
New Mazda engine, plugs, wires, coils, & catalytic converter installed 10/24/2012. Clutch pressure plate and flywheel resurfaced, new throwout bearing installed at same time.
New battery 11/2010.
New oil pan @ 83k miles.
New water pump, rear pads & rotors @ 63k miles.
New front fascia @ 49k miles.
New upgraded starter @ 30k miles.
All scheduled maintenance, repairs, and applicable recalls completed by Mazda dealers.
The check engine light is on, code for oxygen sensor.
The car has the usual small wear-and-tear scratches and paint chips in the front fascia and hood from 8 years worth of Michigan driving.
There are some small rust bubbles under the paint on the edge of the right rear wheel lip.
There's a good-sized door ding in the driver's side rear door.
Rear fascia is cracked around right-side exhaust tip.
I also have a set of Mille Miglia Evo 5 17x7" wheels with 225/50R17 Dunlop Wintersport M3 snow tires. They do fit over the brakes on the car! 20k miles on the snow tires. $500 additional takes the snow tires & wheels.
