2004 rx-8 6mt - 11,500
I'm selling to buy a cheaper toy (an NA Miata to be exact) because I will never, ever be able to drive this car to it's limit.
2004 Sunlight Silver GT
JM1FE173440132492
6-Speed
79,000 on chassis, only about 18,000 on engine. Engine was replaced with a GOOD reman about a year and a half ago at Mazda Knoxville. It runs very strong and i've kept it well oiled with mobil-1 10w30 for as long as i've had it(most of the new engine's life). The engine, of course, falls under Mazda's warranty for another 21,000 miles (or until 2012). The paint looks great, and this car has been garaged for as long as i've had it. The interior is in very good shape aside from a few scratches here and there on the hard plastic.
This is my weekend car and it's only been driven like a rotary should be driven. very, very few winter miles and i've only driven it in the rain once or twice.
Tires have good tread on them, new plugs and wires. Stock wheels are in great shape.
Wheels and tires shown will not be sold with the car (Unless you want to pay an extra $1200 for those, too. Wheels and tires are brand new and have less than 200 miles on them).
This car is lightly modded (HKS exhaust, AFE short shifter, Swift Springs) but it will only be sold with the short shifter and the springs (unless you also just really want the exhaust.) ALL stock parts will come with the car regardless of what it's sold with.
The bad:
- Missing drivers side visor (if it's really a deal-breaker, i might order one)
- Typical airbag light problem (which might be fixable, i haven't gotten under the dash to fool around with it.
- Hasn't had the (free) MSP16 reflash yet
- Small scratch down drivers side door near handle (not very noticeable at all)
- Typical clutch pedal squeak
Otherwise, this car is in excellent condition and a steal from a guy who just wants to pay it off and be done.
I will take 11,500 and that is firm. I'm only taking what is required to pay off the car, so i might be biting the bullet a little bit in selling it.

thanks, guys.
i'm hoping to recoup a little bit of money from the wheels for either a down payment on a miata or to bridge the gap for any additional $$$ i may owe by the time this thing is sold.
but yeah, anyway, this is a good car. someone buy it.

i'm gonna post this as a blanket message to everyone who has PM'ed me about the wheels:
if the wheels and tires aren't sold with the car, they will likely be going to the first person i offered them to (he knows who he is). he has "dibs" as of right now. if that doesn't work out for some reason, your PM's will not go in vain and i will contact the next person who PM'ed me about them. if THAT fails, i'll make a for sale thread.
