2004 mazda rx8 sport package, 50xxx miles, FS chicago!
2004 6spd Mazda RX8
As the title states:
a 2004, all stock, 6spd black mazda rx8. comes with cloth blk/grey interior and has 51,xxx miles.
All services were done accordingly from oil changes every 3k. serviced at 30k and 50k. most was done by the dealership, some done by my older brother, who is a mechanic.
Sport Package: comes with HIDs, 6spd, upgraded with cross drilled and slotted rotors/brakes
Runs REALLY smooth, NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AT ALL, redlines at 9k smoothly, recently changed spark plugs, oil change.
there are typical scuffs and scratches around the body of the car for a 2004 model, nothing MAJOR, can be buffed out easily.
never raced, owned by a mom and recently passed on to her 23 yr old son. Looking to sell ASAP.
$12k obo, prices are negotiable. need it gone asap
**kelley blue book says the car in good condition is worth 12k-12.5k
so PS: BIN firm at $11k firm! :]

i'm trying to follow up w/ my bro's sport car addiction. I'm interested in your car. I have almost what your asking for and will have i in a couple weeks. but i was wondering if mazda insurance still applies if i add a back spoiler to the car? srry for dumb question

Are you 100% trying to sell it this month or would you be interested in waiting a month or two? I'm not asking you to hold the car but I won't have my truck paid off for another month or two then I plan on buying an 8. Just wondering if you were going to get desperate to sell? And I live in west central illinois, would you be interested in meeting me halfway, or just outside the city at least for a test drive/payment?

I don't think it's bullshit, he had it on craigslist for even cheaper though, 8500. I don't know why he doesn't reply to any of my questions either. I talked to him on the phone once and he was saying if I don't come by the next day, the car will be sold. I couldn't show up and he never called/texted so I'm guessing it's sold. I also went through his posts on the forum, he has been in an accident with the car...

Ok, well I called him and He told me the car was going to be sold on saturday for 9k, and if it doesnt to call me back, he called me back later on saturday and said he still had it, but he wouldnt give me the VIN in the private message, but he has been in an accident... ic....

BIN $8000 firm. i cant get back to all the callers/questions because so many people have been checking it out and i have school and a life. so please refrain from flames. only accident its been in is when it was parked a few days ago. one of my neighbors backed into my front bumper. whoever is serious. come check it out. im done with finals so ill have more time to answer any/all questions. but id rather ANSWER THEM IN PERSON SO AS NOT TO WASTE MY TIME REPLYING TO SO MANY PMs. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!!!

so i was on my home from chinatown (94-W) in the express route/lanes.. this was around 1-2 am and i was minding my own business. i was on the right lane going speed limit. this GMC truck tries to ricer fly by me and completely fcks up. i see him with his bright lights on through my side view mirror and im thinking OMG hes fckn close. like.. his whole car was inches from mine. and when he switched lanes BAM... my whole door, fender, rim, and bumper collided with his. like a jerk, HE DRIVES OFF. i end up skidding crazzy thinking i would be doing a 360 into the divider. THANK GOD i had control of the 8.. which was suprising because the 8 STILL had traction at 60 mph almost going sideways. anyway. the GOOD part.. i IMMEDIATELY follow him from the ADDISON exit to ARLINGTON hts. i lost him at the tollway because he took iPass BUT during the pursuit, i got his license plate, filed a report to the state police, and the cops found the car in front of his house minutes after i reported it. guess what? he DIDNT answer the door. he was swerving pretty crazy too maybe he was drunk or something. isnt that REASON ENOUGH to PROVE my innocence in the accident. i mean. HONESTLY despite the almost deserted roads, i DIDNT get tempted to speed or do anything crazy. i consciously was driving safe.. i guess this goes to show that no matter how good of a driver you are. things can still go wrong. luckily, the RX8 proved to shine through these bad times and NOW. after my 2nd class im goin to get an estimate. and talk to my insurance =T. saturday was a pretty good day too. well. ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT THAT WASNT YOUR FAULT. OR HAS SPENT TIME W/O THE MAZDA, I SYMPATHIZE WITH YOU.
