Hello rx8club

I'm selling my 2004 rx8. Posting on here to see if there is any interest. I aquired the car with a reman engine and it currently has about 25xxx on the reman. The engine runs very strong and sounds really good. I also just replaced the transmission with a used unit with 73k on the clock and fresh redline fluid was used.

The coils plugs wires all have about 7k miles on them. The car is lowered and has 19" RSL limited wheels on it currently. Tire tread is probably about 50%. I just recently installed an obx midpipe and also did a custom single exhaust driver side exit. I also have installed a used omp with about 45k miles on it purchased from a member on here. Car also has a brand new OEM Mazda fuel pump and fuel sock.

This is a fun fun car and has been my favorite vehicle of all. I just am in need of a work truck and have no more patience or time for the car. The car in garaged kept however it has the usual scratches dents and dings but nothing outrageous. I'd say 7/10 exterior and 7/10 interior.

The main pulley has a slight wobble. I believe the car may have a front stack issue. Im not 100% sure. Other than that the car runs like a top.

The dash has the H crack. Other than that the interior is pretty clean. I am asking $6500 obo. If you want additional pictures or info you can call or text anytime. 86three-634-8four43. Bump. Updating mileage 182xxx miles. Running fantastic. 10-W40 Castrol oil change. Pulley wobble is going to be repaired. Updating exhaust to 2.5" axle back and larger diameter muffler. Also investing in 25mm hubcentric spacers. Will post pics soon.

 

Update.... 183xxx miles. No metal shavings in oil. Pulley is more than likely bent. Not a front stack issue.

I thought it was a good price. No? Dealerships are selling this same car for $8-$9k in my area. And I see the same cars being sold with blown engines for $3500 + or -

What's a good price? Are you telling me my 8 is worth as much as a 2000 Honda accord?

Thanks for the kind words. Its such a shame these cars degraded this much everyday I debate whether or not to keep it and really invest in it.

 

Any update on the car? I live in Florida and am browsing around.
