Zaino'ed yellow

Just finished Zaino'ing the 8, total time start to finish was about 5 hours. (dawn, clay bar, wash, z5, z6, z2, z6, z2, z6) It's the first time I've ever used Zaino, but it does give a beautiful shine.

you still have a smudge in the last picture by the "looking at it" left oil cooler. look between the left oil cooler and the grill youll see it.

Yeah I saw that and cleaned it off the next day; I think I did it cleaning the exterior vinyl, which I did after applying the Zaino. It was practically beading like water, came right off.

What's that "ira" sticker on the trunklid? Is that a dealer sticker? Peel that **** off!

If it's just a sticker, park the car in the sun for an hour or two, and then heat it with a hair dryer for another 2 or 3 minutes, then get your nail under it and it should peel right up. Any residue can be removed with either WD-40, Ronsonol lighter fluid, or 3M Adhesive remover. Then just re-wax that spot ...

Your car looks great! But I can never really tell in photos like these. Does Zaino really make such a big difference on yellow?

I've used Zymol for years. I recently tried NXT and it seems to leave a slightly deeper shine, but it's hard for me to tell the difference on yellow. So many people seem to be in love with Ziano, I guess I'm just going to have to give it a try at some point.

Not having applied anything else to the 8 I can't compare it directly to any other products. It did give a much better finish than I recall on either of my last 2 cars. (red FD or silver M3, both with Meguiar's) But I never clay bar'ed either of those cars, and trying to do comparisons from memory is hardly a scientific comparision. :p

It didn't deepen the color any, but it definately has more gloss and reflectivity than before I applied it.

I'm from Boston but I'm not sure you've seen me, I've never been to a hot import night, don't know where any of that stuff happens, never mind going. :p

Looks great!!! Very nice. Shame you could'nt lose the front plate!! Also, get some Clear corners for that puppy. It will enhance the look of your 8 perfectly.

Agreed! Nice shine Wanted to ask about your choice of Zaino applications tho. I just bought a Zaino kit today, going to apply tomorrow (washing tonight with Z7). Was told to claybar first, then Z1 as pre-cleaner, then Z2 polish, remove, then Z6 gloss enhance...that's it. How did you go about choosing the order of your applications?

Oh...is ok...just found this thread which nicely answers my question....here
