Talking Window Tint and Fresh Wax!!! :)

Used the NXT wax for the first time, and I am very pleased. The tint is solar gaurd, and it is all legal. Went back and got the front strip installed, and I am very happy with it. Makes a huge difference on a very sunny day.

Look great. I have black as well and use NXT.

What % is the tint?

you should try using a porter cable 7427, 10x faster and makes your car 10x better looking than being done by hand. you should also try Klasse All-in-one and Klasse SG as topper. or just try AIO and meguuiars #26 (high tech yellow wax, not so high tech though but great on dark cars). www.autopia.org ... try that! great info!

I have a buffer, but I enjoy doing it by hand. :D I usually machine buff once a year and hand wax every couple of months. Thanks for the advice, however.

I agree with SayNoToPistons--you can't have a shiny black car with gray tires! Looks great otherwise--I see you even got the exhaust tips. Nicely done, Aurelius!

Oh man you guys are tough. Next wash (this weekend) I will make sure to get the tires and wells. Nothing is as pretty as a clean black 8.

No kidding. You really pulled off your detailing job well. My brother has a black Mazda6 and it doesn't look hardly as good as your 8 because he's scratched it all up and it just doesn't look as 'wet' as your car. Again, nicely done.

I try Actually, I always make a point to do the tires and wheels. For some reason, if the car is filthy, if you at least clean the wheels and shine the tires, the car looks tons better. Someone else mentioned that before. Man, are we narcissistic :p
