Wheel weights
Does anybody know how to get the glue off the wheel from the wheel weights?
I had a tire replaced today due to a nail, or rather my dealer replaced a tire today due to a nail. They gave me 3 a three year tire warrenty for paying for the glass etching for theft when I bought the car. Anyway they found the nail and replaced the tire (that paid for the glass etching in one shot).
They had to take the tire to another place (don't know where) to get it replaced because the didn't have the right tire and didn't have a tire machine big enough to do the job. When it got back they had removed and replaced several of the wheel weights which had been glued down orginally. Well now I have all this sticky crud gathering dirt attached to the wheel.
Anythought or suggestions. I don't want to ruin the wheel trying to clean this crap off.
Thanks for the help.

Goo Gone.
Yes those are the weights. There are a lot of them usually opposite the Valve stem, due to the weight of the tire pressure monitor system. They are used to balance the wheel/tire.
