Question Trying Zaino: What should I order more of?

Hey everyone,

I'm about to take the Zaino plunge by ordering their "Total Protection Package"

What is going to run out most quickly? (so I can just order it now...)

Thanks guys.

P.S. I did try searching but didn't have much luck, I hope this hasn't been asked too often

The Z2 and Z5 in that kit is going to last you a good long time, as will the ZFX. You really only need to apply Zaino polish a couple or three times a year, and you apply each layer very thinly, so you don't use a lot of it.

I'd say order another Z7 car wash and another Z6 spray. Or you could splurge a bit and go for the very best -- instead of another Z6, get some Z8!

Have fun!

I'm still on my original ZFX and Z2 from three years ago. In my case, the ZFX will go bad before I use it all. I guess if you plan to apply Zaino more than two or three times a year or you plan to use it on more than one car, you will need to order more of these.

z6 definitly. I bought my zaino 6 months ago and just had to order more z6 myself. Every thing else should last you a while.

Addiction Factor....

Although you "should" only have to use Zanio 3-4 times per year, once you see the results, you'll want to use more and more....

"I'm just going to wash the car...well maybe I'll put on a coat of Z-2, well if I mix it up with ZFX, I might as well make enough for 3 coats, well, shoot, I should probably do a spray of Z-6 or Z-8 in between, wait, I haven't clay barred in a few months, so I should probably do that which will require 2 washes, and the Clay bar will take off a couple coats of Zanio, so I'll definately need 3 coats of Z-2. Come to think of it, there's now Z-2 Pro, so I'll need to buy that as well, so I might as well use up the rest of my Z-2, and so on and so on and so on....

Buy enough Z-6, Z-2 Pro, and Z-8 because you'll use more than you think!

Has anyone used the new Z8? Need to order more Z7 as I normally wash my car every week thus it goes quickly. But how much better is the Z8??

And agree the shampoo and spray go pretty quickly. The spray is so easy to use I find myself using it every chance I get to touch the car up. Wonderful products.

You will not need luck. You'll be having so much fun polishing your car and admiring it - read my post in the waxing the 8 section.

Another car I'll need sunglasses to look at!

btw update on the Z8.
Great product, it is better than Z7 though not sure if worth double the amount.

Well actually maybe....

It gives it a much deeper shine, the Silver actually has a little purple hue in the color with the sun now. Plus seems like the Z8 last longer and goes further than the Z7.

Oh heck buy both

Hey all, I recently bought a 2005 RX-8 in Brilliant Black. Sadly, in spite of being EXTREMELY careful when washing (clean microfiber mitt, clean microfiber towel, Meguiar's soap, etc) I've noticed some very, extremely fine scratches already starting to appear in my paint. The curse of a black car, I suppose. Would a full-on Zaino treatment be likely to fill in these microscratches and, better yet, keep them from coming back?

Hey RX-8 friend, could you post a link to that thread about waxing the 8? I can't seem to find it (went through all your posts and searched for the word "wax")

Here ya go man.

The best way to have looked for it IMO would be to click on his profile, and then got to "find all posts by RX-8 friend."
